Did you find your way here through my resume or LinkedIn? I’m so glad you’re here!
While many people see creative pursuits as wholly separate from the professional world, in reality it’s quite the opposite. In my professional life I am a business operations and strategy pro, and those are skills I built with the same creative and technical mind that makes me a great crafter.
A big part of crafting, for me, is the mathematical and architectural element. I talk about building a wedding dress, the same way I talk about building a website (like this one). Crafting requires careful planning, measuring, geometric drafting, and testing, very much like growing a business. I love to work on big data sets in part because a spreadsheet tickles the same part of my brain as a complex craft project.
If you’re looking to hire someone with a huge amount of creative passion, an innately technical approach to every challenge, a keen eye for details, and a preference for rolling up their sleeves and getting stuff done, you’ve found her. Shoot me a message at annawflowers@gmail.com, I’d love to chat.
